The Nuggets started strong, outscoring the Clippers 33-19 in the first quarter and never looked back.
In Jokic’s absence, Jamal Murray took charge with 21 points and nine assists, while Russell Westbrook contributed 19 points, eight assists and six rebounds. Michael Porter Jr. also had a solid outing with 19 points and eight rebounds.
DeAndre Jordan, filling in at center for Denver, posted 12 points and nine rebounds, and Julian Strawther and Christian Braun added 16 and 15 points, respectively.

The Nuggets shot a strong 48.6% from 3-point range (17-of-35) and 55.1% overall, while holding a 29-14 advantage in assists.
Meanwhile, the Clippers were led by Norman Powell’s 30 points but shot just 37.5% overall, including 28.9% from deep.
James Harden struggled, finishing 5-of-15 for 16 points, while Kevin Porter Jr. and Ivica Zubac each scored 10 points.

Despite the absences, the Nuggets came out firing. Jamal Murray, Russell Westbrook, Michael Porter Jr. and Julian Strawther each contributed at least five points, helping Denver establish a commanding 33-19 lead by the end of the first quarter.
The Clippers found their rhythm in the second quarter, putting up 31 points, but the Nuggets maintained their edge by scoring 33. At halftime, Denver held a 66-50 lead. James Harden led all scorers with 15 points, while Norman Powell chipped in 14 for the Clippers.
For the Nuggets, Jamal Murray (13 points), Michael Porter Jr. (12), Julian Strawther (11) and Christian Braun (10) spearheaded a well-rounded offensive effort. Of the nine Nuggets who saw action in the first half, all but one registered a field goal.
The Nuggets kept up their offensive barrage in the second half, outscoring the Clippers by seven. Denver’s lead reached as high as 29, and they never trailed during the game.
