The LA Clippers began their four-game road trip on Monday night at the Footprint Center against the Phoenix Suns. It's the third matchup of the season between the two teams, with the Suns winning the first two on Oct. 23 and 31. The Suns have not won a season series against the Clippers since the 2011-12 NBA season.
Coach Ty Lue has a healthy lineup with James Harden, Norman Powell, Kahwi Leonard and Derrick Jones Jr. Leonard has only played in eight games this season and has been limited to just 24 minutes per game. Lue is not afraid to sit his best player even in the fourth quarter.
On the other hand, coach Mike Budenholzer used a starting five of Tyus Jones, Devin Booker, Royce O'Neale, Kevin Durant and Nick Richards. The Suns remain inconsistent this season, with Bradley Beal primarily coming off the bench.
