One fan reacted:

“I guess every King needs a Queen”

Another fan commented:

“JJ has broken the kings win streak against LA over the last few years.”

Before this season, the LA Lakers lost to the Sacramento Kings five straight times. With JJ Redick guiding the team, LA is unbeaten against their former tormentors.

Redick’s team roared off to an impressive start, outscoring the Kings 37-28 after the first 12 minutes. The next three quarters were a seesaw battle that LA won 76-72. The fifth foul committed by De’Aaron Fox with 6:47 left in the third quarter was a game-changer. Kings coach Mike Brown had to take out his most versatile scorer and kept him on the bench until the start of the fourth period.

The LA Lakers also survived an injury scare from Anthony Davis, the team’s best player. AD exited the game after seemingly hurting his left shoulder in the first quarter. However, Davis returned later to end rhe game with eight points, three rebounds and two assists in the final quarter.

The LA Lakers and Sacramento Kings meet two more times this season

The LA Lakers and the Sacramento Kings meet each other again on Saturday at the Golden 1 Center. LeBron James and Co. could continue their dominance over their hosts but the Kings could also get immediate payback.

The fourth and final encounter between the two teams will be on Dec. 8 at the Crypto.com Arena. If the previous two games are an indication, the next two showdowns could keep the trend of all-out action.
