LeBron James and Anthony Davis are expected to suit up for the LA Lakers when they host the Charlotte Hornets in their first of the five-game homestand starting Thursday. LA comes off a disappointing two losses at the hands of the Houston Rockets and the Dallas Mavericks. The presence of their superstars gives them the benefit as the Purple and Gold look to get back to winning ways and start their home stretch on a solid note.
James has been listed as probable with left foot injury management. Anthony Davis joins him in the updated IR list as as probable with left plantar fasciitis. Other players in the report include Cam Reddish (low back soreness) as questionable, Jalen Hood-Schifino (left hamstring strain), Jarred Vanderbilt, and Christian Wood (surgery recovery) are all out.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the shock 118-97 loss to the Dallas Mavericks, LeBron James admitted that "it sucks" that LA dropped the contest to a short-handed Mavs side that was without Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. Per ESPN, the 4x NBA champion also asked his side to shake off the defeat.

"I mean, it sucks, obviously, especially knowing where we were and how well we've been playing. We got another game in, s**t, less than 48 hours. So, we can't dwell on it too much. That's the name of the game of the NBA. You see what you could've done better, but you got to get ready for the next opponent and we got another game coming on Thursday in our home building."
Before the mini Texas trip, LA started the trip as the No. 4 in the West, winning eight of 11 games while upgrading the roster. They added Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton for guard D'Angelo Russell, Maxwell Lewis, and three second-round picks.
The Lakers return to LA for their next eight games, playing seven at Crypto.com Arena and their first game at Intuit Dome to play the LA Clippers. Only time will tell if LeBron James and the Lakers can bounce back to winning ways.
