LA Lakers Injury Report (January 13): Will Christian Wood and Cam Reddish suit up?

The LA Lakers could be without Christian Wood and Cam Reddish when they travel to face the Utah Jazz at Delta Center on Saturday. Both players are day-to-day according to the Lakers’ injury report. Wood is probable with an illness, while Reddish is questionable with a knee injury.

Wood was a late scratch before LA’s 127-109 loss against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. While the Lakers were warming up, ESPN's Dave McMenamin reported that Wood was added to the injury report. He was later downgraded to questionable because of a migraine.

Christian Wood was acquired in the offseason on a two-year, $5.7 million deal. His absence was felt Thursday as the LA Lakers were without Rui Hachimura as well. With Wood being listed as probable, Lakers fans could expect him to play Saturday.

Before the game Thursday, Cam Reddish was listed as questionable with a facial laceration. However, he was cleared to play and was a part of LA’s Starting 5. Reddish left the game with left knee soreness. He was scoreless and was ruled out after halftime. With Reddish being marked questionable, it is unlikely for him to play against Utah.

D’Angelo Russell is questionable with a knee injury as well. Gabe Vincent should be out at least until the All-Star break after undergoing a successful arthroscopic surgical procedure on his left knee.
