Newly appointed head coach JJ Redick has inherited virtually the same team as last year (with a few rookie additions), but the 40-year-old has experimented and been flexible with his lineup. The LA Lakers have started 10 different player over the first 29 games of the season. Center Anthony Davis leads the roster with 28 starts and LeBron James ranks second with 27 starts.
The LA Lakers do have injury concerns with Jalen Hood-Schifino, Jaxson Hayes, Christian Wood and Jarred Vanderbilt all sidelined for Wednesday's game.
The decision to remove D'Angelo Russell from the starting lineup in November has seen Max Christie take on a bigger role. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard has started all of the last five games for the Lakers. He is averaging a career high 21 minutes per game this season.
Expect to see Redick go with a strong lineup that includes LeBron James, Austin Reaves, Max Christie, Rui Hachimura and Anthony Davis.
LA Lakers depth chart:
Like his counterpart, Golden State Warriors' head coach Steve Kerr has rotated his starting five over the early stage of the season with 14 different players receiving starts at some point of the campaign. When healthy, Andrew Wiggins (24), Steph Curry (23) and Andrew Wiggins (23) have been regulars in Kerr's opening lineup.
The Golden State Warriors do not have any injury issues going into Wednesday's game. Gary Payton II is the only player listed as questionable on the injury report.
Congolese forward Jonathan Kuminga, who started the first three games of the season, has seen more time recently and could be included as one of the starters. He is coming off a strong performance where he finished with 26 points, eight rebounds and four assists against the Indiana Pacers.
Buddy Hield and Brandin Podziemski have both received starts this year but the addition of Dennis Schroder should see both the guards begin the game on the bench.
Kerr will likely come out with a starting group that includes Steph Curry, Dennis Schroder, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis.
