The LA Lakers survived a thrilling 120-119 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
LeBron James had a rough shooting night but delivered the game-winning tip. He finished with 13 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists on 4-for-12 shooting. Luka Doncic led the Lakers with 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. He shot 11-for-21, including 6-for-10 from the 3-point line.
Austin Reaves finished with 24 points, four rebounds and five assists on 8-for-16 shooting (1-for-8 on 3-pointers). Rui Hachimura added 14 points and four rebounds on 4-for-5 shooting (4-for-4 from downtown). Jaxson Hayes scored 13 on 6-for-6 shooting, while Dorian Finney-Smith contributed 11 points off the bench on 4-for-6 shooting (3-for-5 from downtown).

Bennedict Mathurin led seven Pacers in double-figures with 23 points off the bench. He shot 7-for-16 (2-for-5 from the 3-point line). Tyrese Haliburton finished with a double-double, scoring 16 and dishing out 18 assists. He shot just 7-for-16, including 1-for-9 from beyond the arc.

Myles Turner had 16 points and 12 rebounds on 6-for-9 shooting (4-for-5 on 3-pointers), while Andre Nembhard added 16 points and seven boards. Pascal Siakam added 15 points and six rebounds, while Obi Toppin scored 10 off the bench.
With the win, the Lakers snapped their three-game losing skid. LA improved to 44-28 and tied the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference. They increased their lead to three games over sixth-placed Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers (41-31). They are also half a game behind No. 3 Denver Nuggets (45-28).
On the other hand, the Pacers' five-game winning streak was halted. Indiana (42-30) holds the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference. They have a game-and-a-half lead over No. 5 Milwaukee Bucks (40-31).

The Indiana Pacers had a 33-28 lead over the LA Lakers at the end of a back-and-forth first quarter. However, the Lakers outscored the Pacers 40-22 in the second quarter to take a 68-55 lead into the break.

Indiana outscored LA 37-27 in the third quarter. The Lakers had a three-point lead heading into the final frame, 95-92. Haliburton had 17 assists at that point.
The Pacers reclaimed the lead on Myles Turner's 3-pointer, 110-107, with about five minutes remaining. Down the stretch, Haliburton's 3-point play put Indiana ahead 119-118 with 42.2 seconds to play. LeBron James, despite a rough shooting night, delivered the Lakers' win on a game-winning tip.
