The LA Lakers continued their four-game road trip on Wednesday in South Beach, facing the Miami Heat. It was an unfruitful visit for the Lakers as the Miami Heat blew them out of the Kaseya Center 134-93. It was the second straight game wherein the Lakers were decimated by their opponents.
The Lakers were also blown out by the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-80 in the previous game. They are now 1-2 in their current road trip, with their next game against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night.
On the other hand, the Heat snapped a two-game losing streak. They played their best game of the season, knocking down a franchise home record of 24 3-point shots. Tyler Herro exploded for 31 points, scoring 21 in the third quarter. LeBron James had 29 points for the Lakers, while Anthony Davis was limited to just eight points.

LA Lakers vs Miami Heat Game Summary
The LA Lakers and Miami Heat went back and forth in the first four minutes of the first quarter. Miami started an 11-0 run to take charge of the ball game, leading 17-6 at the 7:10 mark. The lead ballooned to 14 points before the Lakers cut it down to just five with 27 seconds left in the period.
However, the Lakers' defense allowed a 3-point shot from Kevin Love as the Heat took a 36-24 advantage after the first 12 minutes. LeBron James finished the first quarter with 10 points and looked set to have a big game.
In the second quarter, the Heat regained the momentum as they built a 17-point lead at one point. Anthony Davis was struggling for the Lakers, while it was a total team effort for Miami. Four starters were in double-digits at halftime, led by Bam Adebayo with 14 points and eight rebounds.
Tyler Herro took over in the third quarter for the Miami Heat, scoring 21 of his 31 points. It was all over the LA Lakers since they were outscored 36-20 in the period. The Heat remained relentless for the rest of the game, especially in the fourth quarter when both benches were emptied.
It was another disappointing performance for the Lakers, who dropped to 12-10 for the season. LeBron James finally hit a 3-point shot to go past Kyle Korver in the all-time threes list. James also got out of his funk, but Anthony Davis didn't have a great game. "AD" had eight points on 14 shots and looked lackluster on both sides of the ball.
On the other hand, the Heat might have gained momentum from playing their best game of the season. They have been pretty inconsistent, but the win brings their record to 10-10.
