NBA fans reacted to LA Lakers general manager and vice president Rob Pelinka and Dallas Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison attending the Mavs vs. Golden State Warriors game on Sunday.
Pelinka and Harrison pulled off one of the most controversial trades in NBA history when Harrison decided to trade for Anthony Davis and sent Luka Doncic to Los Angeles. While Mavericks fans slammed and even protested against Harrison, the NBA world was also amazed at how Pelinka was able to get the trade done.

Reacting to the post, some of the fans wrote that Pelinka was focused on acquiring Kyrie Irving.

Some fans hilariously said that Pelinka was buying Harrison a coffee because he wanted Dereck Lively II.
"Why is Pelinka there? Coffee to buy Lively?" another fan wrote.
"This two is about to have coffee again. Lively to Lakers😂," the fan wrote.
Meanwhile, some fans wrote that Los Angeles was about to make another trade to get Daniel Gafford.
"Lakers about to get Gafford for Shake Milton and a 2nd rounder," the fan wrote.
Some of the fans wrote that Pelinka was doing scouting at the game.
"Rob doing scouting while Nico attending Therapy at halftime. Chess not checkers," the fan wrote.
"Why is Rob Pelinka there? Some tampering shit. I could understand if the Lakers are playing but they’re not. That’s why people think the league is a joke. All these scripts being written," the fan wrote.
Alluding to the security that Harrison was reported to have, some fans wrote that the Mavs GM was looking scared.
"Nico be looking straight scared with his secret service on both ends of him all day today," the fan wrote.
The Warriors are about to retire Andre Iguodala's jersey. Rob Pelinka was his agent earlier and that was the reason for his presence at the game.
Luka Doncic believes Lakers can win a title this year
The Lakers have not been dubbed as a championship-contending team this season despite acquiring Luka Doncic. One of the reasons that they have been undermined by the media has been because of their small size and defense.
However, Luka Doncic believes that the team has the assets to win the title, even this year. After the win against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, Donic echoed his feelings about the team's title chances. According to Lakers reporter Jovan Buha, Doncic said that, as a team, the Lakers' goal this season was to win the title.
"Our goal is to win the championship" Doncic said. "That’s our only goal. And I think we have the team for that."
The team has two historically great players on their roster, who have excelled in the postseason despite playing with underdog teams. LeBron James and Doncic both are certified playoff performers and are well-equipped to handle the defense that any team puts in front of them.
However, Doncic and Co. also stand against the largely accepted sentiment that "defense wins championships." The Purple and Gold are ranked 13th in defensive rating and 11th in offensive rating. If they can maintain that, they could have a chance to make some noise come playoff time.
