LaMelo Ball's brother, LiAngelo Ball has made waves with the release of his first song, "Tweaker." The hooper-turned-rapper, known by his hip-hop moniker G3, was instantly successful with his first official release. He's following in the footsteps of his older brother, Lonzo Ball, who attempted to pursue a musical career with his song ZO2.

Unlike his brother, however, LiAngelo Ball has garnered instant success with his first song. RapTV's Instagram account posted on Tuesday and announced that the song was the No. 1 trending song on YouTube Music, even getting attention from notable music artists such as Lil Yachty, Torey Lanez and Meek Mill.

Ball shared the post on his Instagram account, showing his appreciation for the recognition that he was receiving.

LiAngelo Ball is set to perform at Rolling Loud California

On Tuesday, the X (formerly Twitter) account of the Rolling Loud Festival announced that they would feature Ball in Rolling Loud California this March. He'll be performing on the same stage as some of hip-hop's biggest names. ASAP Rocky, Playboi Carti and Peso Pluma are some of the well-known artists who will perform at the festival.

NBA teams have been vibing to LiAngelo Ball's song

LiAngelo Ball's song has taken the sports world by storm. After it was released, professional basketball teams have already been playing the song in their locker rooms. The song was released on Saturday, and G3's older brother, Lonzo Ball, had it playing in the Chicago Bulls' locker room.

The song was also played in the Cleveland Cavaliers' locker room. Tweaker was playing in the background while All-Star Donovan Mitchell was being interviewed. Even though the song was only released on that day, one of Mitchell's teammates knew the words to the song which diverted Mitchell's attention. See how the Cavs star responded to the song in the video below.

The song has been viewed over four million times on YouTube and has been streamed over 2.6 million times on Spotify.
