LaVar Ball became one of the most infamous characters in NBA history. His delusional takes about beating Michael Jordan one-on-one, and his disrespectful treatment of women eventually got him banned from ESPN.
However, he was right about something: His sons will all be successful.
LaMelo and Lonzo Ball have been in the NBA for years now, and LiAngelo, while not an NBA-caliber player, has now found success in his own lane.
Following his latest viral hit, the Balls' middle child has now reportedly signed a $13 million deal with Def Jam and Universal.

Needless to say, it didn't take long before fans took to social media to give LaVar his flowers for raising three successful men:
"Lavar Ball won," one fan said.
"Why sign to a label tho.. u got mad motion doing your own thing.. its not like he’s hurting for money," a fan wondered.
"Was Lavar Ball annoying? Yes. But that dude knew what he was doing to help his kids out!" one fan chimed in.
"He went 2/3...He said all 3 would be in the NBA. BUT he did go 3/3 if we're talking about all 3 being successful," another fan said.
"Lavar tried to shove him to us as a basketball player but it seems like he was meant for greatness elsewhere. Good luck in your music career, LiAngelo!" another one added.
Lonzo Ball teases fans about upcoming LiAngelo Ball song
LiAngelo's hit song, 'Tweaker,' was blasting in most NBA arenas and locker rooms. That's why Lonzo also teased fans by talking about his next hit, which was supposed to drop last Friday.
That wasn't the case, so the Chicago Bulls point guard took to X to explain that it had everything to do with this contract:
"Told yall big news was coming," Ball tweeted. "Now y’all see why we couldn’t drop… Higher ups said hold up lol Was outta my hands," he added in a follow-up post.
Gelo didn't follow the same path as his brothers. Despite having multiple opportunities to earn a roster spot in the NBA, he just wasn't what teams were expecting or needing from him.
Now, he will pursue a career in a different industry, and while his brothers' finances are significantly more bulked up at the time, who knows? He might end up being the wealthiest of them all once it's all said and done.
