NBA superstar LeBron James was still on cloud nine early Tuesday morning ahead of the LA Lakers' matchup against the Washington Wizards. James continued celebrating Ohio State football's national championship win on social media, dropping a three-word reaction.

"The King" made the trip to Atlanta to watch the Buckeyes hold off the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to win their first national title since 2014. He was shown on the big screen and during the broadcast multiple times. He didn't go to Ohio State, but the Buckeyes have a special place in his heart.

In a post on Tuesday morning, James wrote a three-word message alongside a Nike graphic featuring Ohio State:

"Today we did."

The LA Lakers had a day off on Monday following a 116-102 loss to the LA Clippers the day before. It didn't stop LeBron James from riding a plane to Atlanta and witness the game live. James has shared in multiple interviews that if he played college basketball, it would have been at Ohio State.

Instead, the St. Vincent-St. Mary product went directly to the NBA and was drafted first by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. He's still in the league, dominating at the age of 40. He has established himself as one of the greatest players in history, with some even acknowledging him as the G.O.A.T.

"I promise, I say this all the time, if I had one year of college, I would have ended up here," James said in 2013, according to Cleveland.com ."No matter where I go in the world, no matter where it is, I will always rock Ohio State colors."

Before feeling jovial on Monday, LeBron James was in a foul mood after the LA Lakers were blown out by the LA Clippers at Intuit Dome. The Lakers have a winning record of 22-18, but remain inconsistent under first-year coach JJ Redick.

Speaking to reporters after the game, James seemingly took a shot at the Lakers front office by admitting that the roster has no room for error. The team has to be flawless for the rest of the season to even have a shot at homecourt advantage for the playoffs:

"We don't have room for error, for much error. ... That’s the way our team is constructed. We have to play close to perfect basketball, and we know the game is never perfect. It’s never gonna be a 48-minute perfect basketball game. ... If our coaching staff has a game plan for us, we can’t break down on the game plan."

The Lakers have an opportunity to improve their roster ahead of the Feb. 7 trade deadline. They already acquired a couple of role players in late December, but it might not be enough to push them over the top in a stacked Western Conference.
