LeBron James beamed with pride as his second son, Bryce James, showcased his skills in his Hoop Hall Classic debut. Bryce's Sierra Canyon team triumphed over Grayson 60-46, thanks to his exceptional shooting performance.

Bryce scored 16 points on 6-for-10 shooting, including 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, in just 17 minutes. He also grabbed five rebounds and recorded four steals, earning the game's MVP honors.

LeBron reacted to his son's impressive play on X (formerly Twitter), writing:

“Bryce James going crazy in the Hoophall Classic right now! Flame 🔥 thrower.”

"So proud of you Maximus!!! I literally just shed a tear! PROUD POPS!!" James added.

Max Adams led Sierra Canyon in both points and rebounds, contributing 17 points and seven boards in 29 minutes. For Grayson, KJ Garris was the only player to reach double figures, scoring 14 points in 27 minutes.

Grayson shot 17-for-50 (34.0%) overall, 7-for-24 (29.2%) from 3 and 5-for-16 (31.3%) from the free-throw line.

Sierra Canyon shot more efficiently, going 23-for-52 from the field (44.2%), 8-for-23 from 3 (34.8%) and 6-for-9 from the charity stripes (66.7%). The team also excelled in ball movement, with 17 assists, seven more than Grayson, and committed six fewer turnovers.

LeBron James talks about Bryce James’ college decision

Bryce James has committed to playing basketball at the University of Arizona, and LeBron James said that the decision was entirely his son’s.

“It was his decision to make, and he went where he felt comfortable,” LeBron said (per AP). “Coach (Tommy) Lloyd is a straight shooter. Gave him exactly what they believe (about) him, what they thought about him as a person, as a player. We’re happy to be part of the Bear Down community now.”

Bryce James, a 6-foot-4, 190-pound shooting guard from Sierra Canyon, is a three-star prospect and ranks as the nation's No. 47 shooting guard, according to On3.

Bryce is set to be eligible for the 2026 NBA draft and may join his father in the pros after playing one season at Arizona, where he’s committed to playing for the Wildcats beginning in 2025.

His older brother, Bronny, spent one year at Southern California before entering the draft, where LeBron James' team, the LA Lakers, picked him in the second round.

However, Bronny has had limited playing time in the NBA and is continuing to develop in the G League.
