Spotrac lists LeBron James as the all-time NBA leader in career earnings with $528.6 million. He was the league’s highest-paid earner from 2016-17 to 2023-24. The four-time MVP has often said that he has never taken anything for granted and has expressed pride in everything he has accomplished in a historically great career.

On Tuesday, he reacted to a post on X (formerly Twitter) highlighting the $296 million combined earnings of Lonzo Ball, LaMelo Ball and LiAngelo Ball. The LA Lakers superstar shared the report on Instagram and reacted by using raising hands emojis, which means expressing praise or celebration.

Lonzo, the eldest of the Ball brothers, signed a four-year, $80 million contract in 2021. The deal was completed as a part of the sign-and-trade agreement that sent him from New Orleans to Chicago. LeBron James’ former teammate is in the Bulls books this season for $21.3 million before becoming an unrestricted free agent.

LaMelo, the youngest of LaVar Ball’s sons, signed a five-year, $203.8 max rookie contract extension with the Charlotte Hornets in July 2023. The deal kicked in at the start of the 2024-24 season.

LiAngelo Ball, meanwhile, didn't make it to the NBA but earned a $13 million deal, including $8 million guaranteed as a rap artist known as “G3.” Gelo's debut track, "Tweaker," quickly became a massive fan favorite, giving the second Ball brother a big break.

LeBron James couldn’t help but appreciate what Lonzo, LaMelo and LiAngelo have earned together.

LeBron James has winning records against Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball

LeBron James, playing in his 22nd season in the NBA, has played against Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball. Zo and King James were also teammates for one season (2018-19) in LA. The Ball-James partnership in Hollywood didn't last long because Zo was sent to New Orleans in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade.

James has played six times against Lonzo and holds a 4-2 record against the oldest of the Ball brothers. The head-to-head count will change this season if both are healthy. LA hosts Chicago on Mar. 22 before the Lakers travel to Windy City in the rematch on Mar. 27.

Kinga James also has a winning 2-1 record against LaMelo Ball. The first meeting between James and Melo was canceled a few days ago due to wildfires in Los Angeles. They face each other again on Jan. 27 in Charlotte.
