LeBron James is one of the best all-around players in league history, which is why his path to being the top scorer in the NBA came as no surprise. In his most recent interview, he discussed his signature move, which has been associated with him since he entered the league.
In last week's interview with Dave McMenamin, the four-time NBA champion shared how the jam became his staple.
"The only signature thing that people always talk about is my signature tomahawk dunk in transition. People always kinda talk about that's a signature," James said.
"Even my teammates now today, Lonnie Walker [IV] always talk about the LeBron signature tomahawk dunk. That's been pretty cool, and that came out of nowhere, too."

From Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's iconic Skyhook to Michael Jordan's mid-range fadeaway, pure scorers have a natural way of scoring. The same can be said of James and his legendary Tomahawk slam. According to him, it has come out of nowhere, but it has given fans some awe-inspiring moments.
LeBron currently has 37,965 points, which could help him surpass Kareem in the all-time scoring list. He's still going strong and averaging 29.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.7 assists while shooting 51% from the field and 29.5% from long distance. Despite this, the Lakers have a 19-22 record, making them one of the worst teams in the Western Conference.
Los Angeles will try and get back to the winning column on Friday as they take on the Dallas Mavericks.
From LeBron James' Tomahawk Jam, here are some of the most iconic signature moves
LeBron James' dunks have been a staple for each of the seasons he's played in the league. Since his rookie year, he's been jamming on defense and putting on a show for the people. Even now that he's 38, James is still one of the best dunkers in the league.
Here are some of the best signature moves from other superstars:
James Harden's step-back
One of the most lethal scorers in the NBA, James Harden has scored a ton of buckets through his step-back three-pointers.
Nikola Jokic's Sombor Shuffle
There's Dirk Nowitzki's one-legged fadeaway, and there's Nikola Jokic's Sombor Shuffle. His odd way of shooting a fadeaway has caught defenses off guard multiple times.
Steph Curry and his long-distance shots
Steph Curry changed the game with his attempts from beyond the arc. He's still consistently doing it, and looks to be increasingly improving as the seasons goes by.
