LeBron James shares his experience of playing alongside Steph Curry after years of rivalry with Warriors superstar

Millions of basketball fans saw their wishes come true as LeBron James and Steph Curry teamed up for Team USA. The two iconic players of this generation led Team USA to its 17th gold medal at the recently concluded 2024 Paris Olympics.

After a decade of competing against each other at the highest level, LeBron and Steph finally offered a glimpse of what it would be like if the two four-time NBA champions played on the same team.

After LeBron won his third Olympic gold medal, the four-time NBA MVP spoke about his experience playing alongside his long-time rival.

"I've seen it before. In different uniforms. It's good to be on his side," LeBron said after Steph knocked down eight 3-pointers in the gold medal game against France.

"You just marvel at his talent. Obviously, I've seen it before, you know, on the opposite side. But having him on your side, you just try to get stops and figure out other ways on the other end, but keep finding him, keep getting him the ball," the Lakers superstar added.

The Golden State Warriors superstar exploded with back-to-back phenomenal performances. He scored 36 points in the semifinal against Serbia and 24 points in the final against France. In the two crunch games, the one-time NBA Finals MVP knocked down 17 3-pointers on 26 attempts.

Notably, LeBron and Steph competed against each other in four straight NBA Finals from 2015-2018. The two perennial All-Stars have battled against each other in 52 games in regular season and playoffs combined.

LeBron James was ecstatic to achieve Olympics gold

LeBron James led a star-studded Team USA to glory in Paris. LeBron, Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, three of the best players of the generation, came together with one common goal in mind: to win a gold medal.

"It's a big moment for USA basketball," LeBron said. "We came together. We stayed even-kill no matter what was going on throughout the preliminary games, throughout the tournament games. We got our moment, and this is what we want. We all came here for one common goal, and we took care of business."

On the individual front, Lebron was exceptional throughout the Olympics. The four-time NBA Finals MVP averaged 14.2 points on 66% shooting from the field, including 30.8% from the 3-point range. The 20-time NBA All-Star also averaged 6.8 rebounds, 8.5 assists and 1.3 steals.

For his magnificent all-round performance, LeBron was voted the MVP of the tournament.
