LeBron James is spending some time on vacation with his friends Brandon Weems and Randy Mims. Weems is the current assistant general manager for the Cleveland Cavaliers, while Mims serves as the chief of staff on James' business team which also includes Rich Paul and Maverick Carter.
The LA Lakers superstar shared Weems' story on his own Instagram account, showing off their vacation photo. It's unclear where the trio took the picture, but it's safe to assume that James is taking all the vacation time he can get before preparing for the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
The four-time NBA champ captioned his story with salute and heart emojis. Here's the post on his IG stories:

Some LA Lakers fans might feel a little panic, especially with LeBron James expected to opt out of his contract and become a free agent. However, James has been friends with Brandon Weems since they were kids.
Weems played high school basketball with "The King" at St. Vincent-St. Mary's. He has been with the Cleveland Cavaliers since 2015, starting as a scout. He was promoted to Director of Scouting two years later before becoming the Senior Director of Player Personnel in 2021. He became the assistant general manager a year later and has held the position ever since.
Meanwhile, Mims has been friends with LeBron since they were five years old. They formed a bond and he later became the four-time NBA champion's Chief of Staff. He works with Rich Paul and Maverick Carter to handle the business side of James' career.
'It's not about me. Nobody's paying to see Randy Mims. They're coming to see the big fella. I could really make this about me but like 16 years ago I left my ego at the door," Mims said on an episode of 'More Than An Athlete' last year. [H/T Yahoo! Sports]
What's next for LeBron James and the LA Lakers after Dan Hurley rejects offer to become head coach?
LeBron James and the LA Lakers still need a new head coach after Dan Hurley rejected the team's offer to take charge. Hurley decided to remain in UConn while the Lakers will likely circle back to their previous options such as JJ Redick, James Borrego, Sam Cassell and Micah Nori.
While the Lakers will be busy at that end, it seems like James will have plenty of options if he becomes a free agent. The Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors have been linked to him recently, while the Cleveland Cavaliers can make a sign-and-trade happen if he wants it.
LeBron James appearing courtside at a Cavaliers postseason game was also no accident. Some people could argue about his desire to stay in Los Angeles, while others such as Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson suggest he takes his talents to the East where the competition is not as tough as the West.
