After winning gold with Team USA, LeBron James traveled from Paris to Munich, Germany, where he was seen enjoying himself at an Adele concert. A video captured by a fellow concertgoer showed James under an umbrella, shielding himself from rain as Adele sang her hit song, Set Fire To Rain, released in 2011 as part of her second studio album.
The clip of James enjoying himself at the concert notably comes on the heels of the future Hall of Famer earning Olympic MVP honors in Paris after leading Team USA to an undefeated record, capped off by a remarkable gold medal win against France.
With NBA training camps set to start in early October, James is looking to enjoy himself before returning to the US and shifting his focus to his 22nd season. With Adele in the middle of a 10-date run of shows in Munich, James took the opportunity to fly to Munich for the sixth show the pop star put on.
The show took place at Munich's 74,000-seat outdoor arena Messe München arena, where Adele has a residency that spans through the end of the month.

LeBron James' personal connection with Adele
While LeBron James was seen enjoying himself like any other fan at Adele's concert, the future Hall of Famer shares a close connection to the pop star. Adele and James' longtime friend and business partner, Rich Paul, have been in a relationship since 2021.
Given that James and Paul go back more than 20 years, it's no surprise that Paul and Adele have been seen together at several of James' games in the past. Moreover, earlier in the month, while performing at a different show in Munich as part of her August residency, Adele announced that she was engaged.
After reading a fan sign that asked her to marry him, Adele explained:
“I can’t marry you. Cause I’m already getting married.”
Adele then showed off her engagement ring from Rich Paul to a loud round of applause from fans in attendance.
It also isn't the first time LeBron James has been seen at an Adele concert. Last year, before the start of the 2023-24 NBA season, James attended a show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where he was left amazed by Adele's talent.
In a post on social media after the show, he wrote:
“You’re ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE @adele!! Simple as that!” James wrote in his caption. Pleasure witnessing it live in the flesh! Never Ever to forget! RARE!!! A breath of fresh air, a striking bolt of light and a unfazed humble yet super confident aura!! Continue love and blessings!!"
