In a jam-packed NBA schedule on Saturday, the matchup of the night featured LeBron James and the LA Lakers against the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers are coming off an impressive 117-96 win over the defending champions and rivals Boston Celtics.
"King James" was part of the starting lineup along with Austin Reaves, Max Christie, Dorian Finney-Smith and Anthony Davis. Finney-Smith replaced Rui Hachimura, who was ruled out for the game with soreness in his left calf.
But how did the four-time NBA MVP perform tonight against the Warriors? James dropped a double-double of 25 points and 12 assists as the Lakers got the 118-108 win. He helped facilitate the team's victory by feeding Anthony Davis, who had 36 points and 13 rebounds.

How did LeBron James perform against the Golden State Warriors?
In the first quarter, LeBron James had six points, two rebounds and two assists. He played in the first six minutes of the contest before getting some rest. He returned at the 2:29 mark to give the Lakers some momentum and a 27-26 lead after the first 12 minutes.
The four-time NBA champ added five points, two rebounds and three assists in the second period. The Lakers tried their best to get away from the hosts, but the Golden State Warriors were not letting the game get out of hand. The visitors were ahead 59-58 entering the second half.
James and company took over in the second half on both ends of the floor. The Lakers limited Steph Curry's production by holding him scoreless in the final two quarters. They had an answer every time the Warriors tried to get closer, with Anthony Davis leading the way with 36 points on 23 shots.
In addition to LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the LA Lakers received plenty of help. Austin Reaves finished with 16 points, five rebounds and seven assists, while Dalton Knecht scored 13 points off the bench. Max Christie added 11 points and rebounds, with Jarred Vanderbilt scoring his first two points in almost a year.
Meanwhile, Andrew Wiggins had a game-high 20 points for the Golden State Warriors. Seven Warriors players reached double-digit points, but they just couldn't put together consecutive stops to get within striking distance in the final period.
What's next for LeBron James and the LA Lakers?
The LA Lakers continue their road trip on Monday against the Charlotte Hornets. They'll be away from Crypto.com Arena until Feb. 4 against the LA Clippers, though that would be near their backyard at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. They are also scheduled to face the Philadelphia 76ers, Washington Wizards and New York Knicks during their trip.
LeBron James doesn't have time to rest since the Lakers had two postponed games that would keep their schedule tight before the All-Star break.
