LeBron James' wife Savannah James reveals the unusual way she met her best friend & business partner

LeBron James' wife, Savannah James, appeared on "The Drew Barrymore Show" on Tuesday along with her best friend and business partner, April McDaniel. James revealed the unusual way they met and how they started to bond.

"She used to do events for my husband, and she always took great care of me," Savannah said. "Then, we moved to the same city and it was kind of all she wrote."

The wife of the LA Lakers star started a podcast with McDaniel in April. Their podcast, "Everybody's Crazy," has gradually picked up loyal viewers on YouTube, as they've collected 28,000 subscribers.

Barrymore asked the pair how they had the idea of starting their show.

"Well, we didn't strategically make it prime time," McDaniel said. "When you have real connectivity and friendship, it just feels really organic. We were like, 'We want to talk to other people, is this crazy?' And we were like, 'Maybe we'll try it.'

Not only do they bond together in their podcast, but the two hosts have ventured into other things. Their most recent project is called Let It Break, a haven for women seeking mental, physical and spiritual wellness.

James and McDaniel are the founders of their new business. Porsha Ellis, their close friend, was named CEO of the company.

The project is a women’s membership community focusing on “personal growth and self-discovery.” Let It Break offers a variety of outlooks for building relationships. The company offers offer educational programming, resources and tools for personal growth.

The core of their business features members-only workshops, ongoing master talks, peer-led groups dubbed “accountability pods” and immersive dinner conversations.

Savannah James had an extended holiday break with McDaniel in Miami

After the holidays, most people went back to their usual work routine. However, that wasn't the case for Savannah James and her best friend. The two extended their holiday break to "unplug" themselves from the rest of the world.

On Instagram, McDaniel posted a video of them relaxing in a yacht, while ignoring their phones. In the video, the other half of their podcast had a work-related caption that reads:

"'I hope this email finds you well," McDaniel posted. "The email not finding me. Because we are in Miami."

"Pardon us, while we unplug for a sec."

After a busy 2024, the pair earned an extended holiday break.
