Famous TV personality Skip Bayless is reportedly leaving FS1 this summer, according to an exclusive report by the New York Post. Bayless has been a host of Undisputed since 2016 and a mainstay in sports entertainment since the 1990s.
He left ESPN and his role with "First Take" alongside Stephen A. Smith in 2016 for FS1.
The "MJ of hating," as one X user put it, was well-known for his brazen remarks on the hottest names in sports. Perhaps no player has been the subject of his ire more than LeBron James, who fans were quick to point out is not leaving his job this summer.

"The MJ of hating is hanging em up. Truly the end of an era, " wrote one user.
"LeBron's career literally outlasted Skip Bayless' TV career. Not even a LeBron fan but that is pathetically hilarious" wrote one user.
Bayless hosted the show with former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe until last summer. Fans speculated that Sharpe's departure was an unrecoverable loss for the show. He has since been running the show with a variety of co-hosts.
"Life after Shannon Sharpe really isn’t working out huh Skip? Even the 24/7 Lebron content isn’t helping the ratings lol, " wrote one fan.
Some fans on social media used Bayless' criticisms against him.
"Man is too washed up for national TV. Meanwhile Bron is still an elite player and leading USA to the Gold. Can’t make it up," wrote one user.
"Hating don’t pay the bills no more," wrote one fan.
"Please do not go back to ESPN," wrote on fan.
Skip Bayless says he's surprised by Bronny James' mentality on the floor
Skip Bayless has been patient with Bronny James in his three summer league appearances so far, noting his shooting slump without criticism and even writing that Bronny is better than he's playing.
But on his last episode of "Undisputed," he mentioned specifically the work ethic he notices from Bronny, saying he's put off by his lack of assertiveness on the floor.
"My biggest takeaway so far in three games, small sample size, is, he's not playing as hard as I thought he was gonna play. I don't see it all out from him every play," he said Monday.
Skip Bayless reportedly signed a four-year contract worth $32 million with FS1. Bayless did not signal on his own that he is leaving TV altogether, and the New York Post reported that "Undisputed" is likely to continue on FS1 without Bayless.
