NBA Twitter was taken aback after seeing tweets from Skip Bayless' X (previously Twitter) account expressing regret to LeBron James. Other posts on Bayless' social media account were also full of foul language. Supporters speculated that the analyst's social media accounts were compromised.
The "apology tweet" for James used foul words to describe the longtime analyst. The post has since been deleted and the analyst's camp has started to clean the account of the hacker's posts.
"I just wanna apologize to Lebron, he owns me. Im just an old c*** who has nothing going on with his life. I'm sorry king lebron," Bayless' hacked posted.

Skip Bayless criticizes "LeBron James' Lakers" following the Lakers' loss to the Pistons
On Monday night, the LA Lakers lost to the Detroit Pistons 115-103. James only scored 20 points, therefore it wasn't his finest game. He did, however, contribute to other areas of the floor with his 11 assists and eight rebounds. Skip Bayless criticized the Lakers' performance against the Pistons.
"LeBron's Lakers just failed to show up and lost at Detroit by 12. Crushed on the boards, 55-37. Pistons: 17 offensive boards. Just inexcusable. Hey, JJ, gotta light a fire under your squad," Bayless posted on X.
Bayless followed it up with another post, finding fault in the Lakers' struggles. According to the analyst, the team's problems could be a bad sign early in the season. He also sided with what JJ Redick said about the team's defensive approach in their game last night.
He also said Redick's postgame statements might spur players like James and Anthony Davis.
"JJRedick just said he wished his team would've started the game at Detroit "with more pride on defense." BOOM. Love that. LeBron and AD probably won't, which is good."
The Lakers can return to the win column on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.
