Fans react to the Dallas Mavericks' X account mimicking the iconic meme of LeBron James during the 2016 NBA Finals with Luka Doncic. The Mavs are down 3-1 against the Boston Celtics and the odds are against them. In the league's history, the only team to come back from a 3-1 deficit was the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.
The Mavs have a shot in history by extending the series tonight against the Celtics in Game 5. Dallas turned things around in Game 4 after the entire squad was locked in and took advantage of the Boston squad not having Kristaps Porzingis with them.
What's even more interesting is that in 2016, the Cavs had Kyrie Irving. This time, the Mavs have the star point guard, and coming back to the series after being down 3-1 would repeat history. Dallas' X account posted an image of Doncic that is similar to the LeBron meme.

Luka Doncic confirms he'll play tonight
There's been a question on whether Luka Doncic will play for the Mavericks in Game 5 tonight. Injury reports came in and the Dallas star is still dealing with thoracic contusion, as well as illness. The team listed him as probable, but there's still a chance he might not play.
However, the five-time All-Star assured the fans that he won't be missing the crucial Game 5. Given that there's a lot at stake, Doncic is determined to suit up and get another win to bring the series back to Dallas.
"At this point in the season, a lot of things going on," Doncic said. "If I'm playing, I'm fine. No worries."
In the past four games, Doncic has impressed fans with his performance. He's averaging 29.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 5.8 assists this series. His efficiency from beyond the arc has been affected by the Celtics' defense as he's knocking down 25.0% of his shots.
