The Dallas Mavericks are one win away from the Western Conference finals. It's a huge turnaround for the Mavs after missing the playoffs last season. There were some doubts about the team entering the campaign, but trade deadline deals changed their fortunes.

P.J. Washington has been a game-changer on both sides of the floor for Dallas, while Daniel Gafford fits in seamlessly with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. The Mavericks had the best defense in the final few weeks of the regular season and even earned the fifth seed in the West.

Dallas knocked off the LA Clippers in six games in the first round of the 2024 NBA playoffs. Doncic struggled with his shot but still dominated the series with Irving doing his thing on the offensive end.

Irving has been amazing for the Mavs in the postseason, looking at his best since he was teaming up with LeBron James.
