LiAngelo Ball's rapping career takes off
LiAngelo Ball, the older brother of the Charlotte Hornets' LaMelo Ball and the younger brother of the Chicago Bulls' Lonzo Ball, has finally elevated his stardom. While his two brothers are flourishing in the NBA, LiAngelo took on a different path and became a rapper. The Ball's middle child is now known as G3 and recently dropped his new song titled "Tweaker."
According to sources, "Tweaker" is currently the top trending song on YouTube, ahead of other mega artists like Bad Bunny and Drake. G3 dropped his song last Friday, which immediately garnered more than 3 million views on YouTube.
Despite "Tweaker" only being released for a few days, many athletes are digging G3's work. The NFL's Detroit Lions are fans of the former basketball player turned rapper, as they demanded to blast LiAngelo Ball's song after their huge win against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Sources reported that teams like the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers also played G3's song.
Looking at Ball's path to becoming G3, he started out as a high school basketball star representing Chino Hills. However, his stint with UCLA turned out otherwise, which led to NBA scouts shying away from recruiting LiAngelo. Nevertheless, Ball had the opportunity to play for the Detroit Pistons for a brief period. He then tried playing in the G League before ending his career with the Charlotte Hornets.
