The year 2025 has perhaps been more than LiAngelo Ball hoped for. After his debut song "Tweaker" went viral on the internet, the athlete-turned-singer made another big stop in his career. According to a post by The Shade Room, LiAngelo has signed a $13 million deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group.
Ball's girlfriend Nikki Mudarris was on cloud nine with the big news. She took to her social media to congratulate LiAngelo, reposting the post by The Shade Room on her Instagram story with a heartfelt message for him.
"You deserve all the blessings and more ❤️ @gelo," she wrote in the caption.

ESPN'a Shams Charania reported that LiAngelo will get a guaranteed $8 million. Moreover, the deal will also give him "the full ownership of music and his own record label."
LiAngelo is the second son of Lavar Ball. Both of his brothers play in the NBA.
After a big injury setback that kept him out for two seasons, Lonzo Ball is back in the starting lineup of the Chicago Bulls. The youngest son of Lavar, LaMelo Ball, is expected to make his second All-Star appearance.

The big Def Jam deal isn't the first big news that LiAngelo Ball received this year. Earlier, on January 8, Gelo landed the first and the biggest gig of his music career. Complex Music reported in a post that Ball will be performing on the opening day of Rolling Loud California.
Ball's girlfriend Nikki Mudarris was elated with the big news. She reposted the breaking news post by Bleacher Report on her Instagram story and captioned the post with love.
"So happy for my love 🥹❤️," she wrote in the caption.
LiAngelo Ball will perform on March 15 at the at Hollywood Park.
LiAngelo's song "Tweaker" has quickly become a locker room hype song in the NBA and Unrivaled League. After the Cleveland Cavaliers, LiAngelo's brother Lonzo and the Bulls also played the song in their locker room.
On the other hand, Angel Reese and the other WNBA players who are set to play in the Unrivaled League also showed their dance moves on the song.
