Ball may never play for an NBA team and his basketball stocks seem to have dipped over the past few years. He has played in the G-League but never got the chance to see the floor in an NBA game. He was signed to contracts by teams such as the Detroit Pistons and the Charlotte Hornets but was waived by both teams.
NBA fans react to LiAngelo Ball’s latest rap song
LiAngelo Ball's latest song received mixed reactions from fans on social media.
Some of the fans gave props to the Ball brothers' father Lavar Ball and wrote that he had definitely raised some great children.
"Lavar really raised some great young men you gotta respect it," a fan wrote.
"Liangelo Ball’s song is blowing up," one fan wrote.
One of the fans was not impressed with the song and wrote that there was nothing new about it and that it sounded like every other rap song.
"Sounds just like every rap song that’s been produced ever with the same recycled lyrics…..groundbreaking," the fan wrote.
"It’s better than his basketball skills, but still not worth listening to," one user tweeted.
Some fans had the opposite view.
"That’s sounds nice for real," an X user wrote.
"People from 2004 would’ve liked that sh*t," one fan wrote.
Ball may not have had great success on the NBA court, but the release of his song could potentially bring him success off the court.
