The relationship between former Chicago Bulls teammates Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen has been sour since the release of The Last Dance in May 2020. However, fans can still laugh at some of Pippen's social media posts, including a recent image depicting Jordan's flu game.
In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Pippen shared an altered image of himself and MJ from the iconic flu game in the 1997 NBA Finals. It was an advertisement for Pip's $BALL cryptocurrency.
The image features Jordan, with Satoshi Nakamoto's face, in Pippen's arms. For those who don't know, Nakamoto is the alleged creator of Bitcoin. It's unclear if the man's image is really of Nakamoto, whose real identity remains unknown.
"WHO DID THIS??? 🤣😭🏀 $BALL," Pippen tweeted.

Of course, NBA Twitter has a lot of things to say about Scottie Pippen's latest post. Pippen, or his social media people, has been using artificial intelligence images featuring Michael Jordan and other personalities to promote his $BALL crypto.
Still, here are some of the fun reactions on X:
"Easy one.........Linsanity's dad," a fan tweeted.
"Sometimes even Satoshi plays sick," one fan replied.
"That's how Scotty met Satoshi," another fan claimed.
Scottie Pippen's $BALL crypto features the game-used ball from the 1991 NBA Finals, the Chicago Bulls' first championship. Pippen turned it into a Real-World asset on the blockchain, and its tokens are available on Bitmart and Uniswap.
"Satoshi running point? Game changer," a fan wrote.
"Yo Scottie when you grab sum bitmaps?" one fan asked.
"Scottie Pippen and a goat," another fan commented.
In terms of the relationship and subsequent fallout, Michael Jordan has not released any statement to address it. Things looked worse when MJ's son, Marcus Jordan, began dating Scottie's ex-wife, Larsa Pippen.
Scottie Pippen's changes tune about Michael Jordan's 'The Last Dance'
More than four years after The Last Dance was released, Scottie Pippen surprised NBA fans at the Real-World Asset Summit in New York last October when he talked positively about it. Pippen explained that he was disappointed about his input, but called it 'great' and was something people needed during the pandemic.
"I thought it was very positive," Pippen said, according to the Basketball Network. "I felt, at that time, we needed something positive and good to watch on TV. I felt the documentary was great; I didn't have anything to do with it, which I was a little disappointed in, but it was a great documentary, it won some awards."
Pippen won six NBA championships with Michael Jordan, and they are still the greatest duo in basketball history. Fans were disappointed with all the drama after The Last Dance, but it's great to see some of them support Pippen's latest crypto venture.
