Tyrese Haliburton and girlfriend Jade Jones make appearance in WNBA Indiana Fever game
Before heading to the Turks and Caicos Islands for their offseason vacation, Tyrese Haliburton and girlfriend Jade Jones attended a WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky. The couple's presence was highlighted on the jumbotron inside the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever's home arena, Gainsbridge Fieldhouse, in Indianapolis.
The game featured the Fever registering their first home win of the season with a marginal 71-70 victory in the close matchup against the Sky. Fever rookie Caitlin Clark registered 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in the team's winning effort.
The contest also featured the controversial foul on Clark by Chennedy Carter, who shoulder-checked the Fever star with just over 15 seconds left in the third quarter. Though the foul was initially deemed as a common away-from-ball foul, it was upgraded to a flagrant foul upon further review after the conclusion of the game.
However, Caitlin Clark brushed off the controversial foul on her, citing the level of physicality in the WNBA. She also highlighted that she lets her game do the talking in such situations.
