Before LiAngelo Ball evolved into one of the most talked about rappers in the nation, the California native was known as a highly rated basketball player. According to Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball, LiAngelo's brother, the blossoming rapper approaches his music career in the same manner that he approached his basketball career.

In the latest episode of his podcast "What An Experience with Lonzo Ball," the NBA star spoke about LiAngelo Ball's hit track "Tweaker" and his creative process.

LiAngelo doesn't like to waste time and usually goes for the big swing when it comes to his music. Lonzo Ball revealed that his brother is ready to work when he gets into the studio and doesn't like distractions.

"When he comes to the booth, he really just wants to make whatever songs he's got on his phone," said Lonzo. "And don't p*ss him off. Cause he actually will walk out of the session. I've seen him do it before. Let him get out whatever he wants to get out, it's his art." (7:05)

LiAngelo Ball first teased his newest track "Tweaker" on a live stream with popular content creator N3on. The song was released on the "WorldstarHipHop" YouTube channel on Jan. 4 and has already racked up 9.7 million views. Shortly after its release, it was YouTube's No. 1 trending song for a period.

Following the success of "Tweaker," LiAngelo has become a household name in the hip-hop world. The viral track has also seen LiAngelo Ball sign a lucrative new record deal with Def Jam and Universal Music Group, which reportedly could be worth up to $13 million.

Fans of G3 will be excited to hear that there could be more music on the way. On the podcast, Lonzo Ball hinted that they plan to drop a few more singles in the near future.

The Chicago Bulls have had an underwhelming start to the 2024-25 campaign, but the spirits were high in the locker room following the team's 139-126 victory over the New York Knicks at the United Center on Jan 4.

Following the win, Lonzo Ball and his teammates were seen getting down to LiAngelo Ball's latest track.

The song "Tweaker" has received high praise from some of the biggest celebrities in the sports and entertainment world.

The Detroit Lions celebrated their recent win over the Minnesota Vikings to the popular track. Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell's interview with a reporter was interrupted when his teammates blasted "Tweaker" in the background. Dwight Howard even teased a remix version featuring the former NBA player.
