Lonzo Ball's younger brother, LiAngelo, took the hip-hop scene by storm with his hit debut single, "Tweaker," under the alias "G3." The Chicago Bulls point guard has been full of support for his brother's new career as a rapper and even helped create the cover art.

According to Lonzo, he is responsible for the cover art, despite initially being credited as the song's lyricist. On Friday's episode of his podcast, "What An Experience," the 6-foot-6 guard discussed how he came up with the cover art.

"The inspiration -- well, first of all, I had an idea already, I sent it over to G," Lonzo said (Timestamp: 2:19). "He (was) like, 'Nah, use this picture.' I'm like, 'Alright, cool.'"
"We got the corner in there, he really jumped off the little brick wall. Bro's just walking on air type. I'm like, 'Cool, let's rock with that.' I threw it into the little Picsart app, threw a little effect on it, put Tweaker on the sidewalk, sent it to G. He like, 'Yeah, I f**k with that.' I'm like, 'Say less.' Upload."

It's been almost two weeks since the song was released, and it has garnered 9.4 million views on YouTube. The song performed even better on Spotify, with over 21 million streams.

It debuted at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100. Because of his success, the second son of LaVar Ball was announced as part of the Rolling Loud California lineup on its opening day.

On Jan. 13, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the younger Ball brother signed a $13 million deal with Def Jam Recordings. The record deal reportedly includes an $8 million guarantee.

The Ball brothers have also teased that LiAngelo will soon release more music in the future.

Lonzo Ball clears up writing credit for LiAngelo's song

Initially, most people thought Lonzo Ball was part of the writing process for the song, as he was credited as the lyricist. However, the Bulls guard clarified that he didn’t take part in writing the song.

"No, I can't even -- Me and G been making music together," Lonzo said (Timestamp: 4:55). "We don't sound like each other. I can't really rap like him, he can't really rap like me. We don't even write the same."

Like his younger brother, however, Ball has released a song before. In 2017, the eldest of the three brothers released the song "Melo Ball 1," dedicated to the youngest, LaMelo. He followed it with "ZO2" and "Super Saiyan."
