There was a time when former NBA star Lamar Odom took on the late Aaron Carter in a boxing match. The event took place sometime in June 2021 for "Official Celebrity Boxing". It was a weird matchup considering that Odom was a former pro athlete and clearly had the physical advantage over Carter. Nevertheless, the bizarre match still took place.

The bout between the two appeared to be an unfair match on paper. Carter, who stood at six feet tall, is about a foot shorter than Odom. Odom undoubtedly benefited from the fact that him and Carter made their boxing debuts in this contest.

Since Odom's retirement from the NBA, he has struggled with health concerns. However, it doesn't change the fact that he is still a professional athlete. He has the physical abilities that average people lack. This was seen in the match when he easily knocked out Carter in the second round. To be fair with Carter, at least he landed several blows to Odom's head before getting KO'd.

Honestly, their match was quite amusing to watch because of their size difference. The audience literally witnessed a bout between David and Goliath. Aaron Carter threw a flurry of punches at the former NBA forward, however, Lamar Odom made it seem like it was nothing to him. Odom's punches, on the other hand, obviously did severe damage to the smaller rapper.

During a post-match interview, Aaron Carter was asked what it felt like to get hit by Odom. Carter humorously responded that Odom's punches were like getting hit by a train. He said:

Aaron Carter died at 34 years of age

According to CNN, Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and a former child pop star, passed away at 34 years of age. Carter was found dead in his bathtub. The folks who found his body called 911 around 11 AM last Saturday.

The police are still trying to figure out what caused his death. According to TMZ, the authorities found no evidence of a struggle or any physical brutality. They also haven't considered his death to be a suicide. Either way, Carter will forever be in the hearts of his family, friends and fans. RIP Aaron Carter.
