LiAngelo Ball sat courtside on Monday to watch his brothers Lonzo Ball and LaMelo Ball battle each other. Gelo, now popularly known as “G3,” attended the highly anticipated duel at the United Center. Melo and Zo, who haven’t played each other since 2021,shared the court for the highly awaited showdown.

During a lull in the action early in the game, Gelo was shown on the big screen. The home team greeted his appearance with warm applause.

Fans on X, formerly Twitter, promptly reacted:

“Gelo out here looking like he’s ready to drop the next hit single while watching his bros ball,” one tweeted.

One said:

“The Ball brothers taking over the NBA stage”

Another added:

“Liangelo just got 13M and he couldn’t afford to get a better outfit”

@YngJackieAprile commented:

“the best Ball brother”

@DJBK claimed:

“Greatest rapper alive”

LiAngelo Ball causing a stir on social media is no longer surprising. The only Ball brother who couldn’t make it to the NBA has had the spotlight since early January. Gelo released his debut track, “Tweaker,” an anthem that quickly became a favorite in locker rooms across sports.

The hit earned the rapper a hefty $13 million deal ($8 million guaranteed) with Def Jam and Universal Music Group, per Shams Charania. Ball gets full ownership of everything he releases and gets his own music label.

On Friday, LaMelo Ball and Lonzo Ball shared the court. Many fans, though, also kept their eyes on LiAngelo Ball courtside.

The Charlotte Hornets and the Chicago Bulls gave fans an entertaining show. Heading into the fourth quarter, the home team held a 103-100 lead. Lonzo Ball came off the bench to contribute six points on 2-for-4 shooting with three rebounds, three steals and two rebounds.

One play in the second quarter got home fans going. Zo scored a corner 3-pointer as LaMelo Ball desperately went after him to block the shot.

Meanwhile, Melo led the Hornets with 19 points, seven assists, two steals and one rebound in 24 minutes. He had two highlight-reel assists in the first half that created a buzz in the pro-Bulls crowd.

LiAngelo Ball likely couldn’t care who won the game, as he clapped almost every time one of his brothers made a good play.
