LeBron James' 3-point struggles and fatigue saw him endure a torrid night as the Minnesota Timberwolves had their revenge with a commanding 108-89 win at the Target Center on Monday. The four-time NBA champion was playing the second night on the bounce after Sunday's win against the Utah Jazz and looked visibly tired. He propped up just 10 points before hitting the bench midway into the fourth quarter.

The gnarly loss and James' ugly run had Lakers fans sharing their two cents. The responses were mixed with some ardent fans believing it was tiredness and father time catching up for the 39-year-old, while a certain section was all about the roast. A comment read:

"father time got him looking like Jake Paul’s next opponent"

Another fan @TheOneFortyPlus cited fatigue as a key factor.

"No but I think trying to play every game has taken it's toll. Too old for that."

@jbondwagon seconded the theory.

"Father Time has finally caught up"

@upblissed expected the rest of the roster to step up.

"Y’all say this every time? You Want him to drop 50 every single game at 40?"

@Thisgirlsats added:

"It's tough to see a legend struggle, but everyone has off nights. Still, 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists aren't bad for an "off" day for a 40-year-old.. Let's not count out the King just yet."

@andrewponce33 believed LeBron James was running on fumes.

"He just had a tough game but yeah he might be running out of gas"

LeBron James ended his evening with 10 points on 4-16 shooting from the field and was 0-4 from the 3-point line. He also tallied eight rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes on the floor.

JJ Redick weighs in on LeBron James playing all 82 games: "Don't know what's in the best interest of him and us"

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of the loss, Lakers head coach JJ Redick was asked about LeBron James' plan of suiting up for all 82 games — a number he's hit only once during the 2017-18 season.

"I don't know that's in the best interest of him and us if he does that, but if he's feeling well and feeling good, then he should play."

James has not yet missed a game for the side this season, but his performance has nosedived in his last four games. Missed 3s and inconsistent defense had him looking frustrated and, rarely old.

For the sake of longevity and staying injury-free while also keeping his productivity levels high, Redick and the Lakers think-tank will now need to come up with a solution, and if that means making meaningful trades to minimize his workload, then that could be a way forward.
