"Lost his mind over misinformation" - NBA Fans troll Bow Wow for falling for fake post involving Travis Hunter's fiancee Leanna Lee & Anthony Edwards

NBACentel, a parody account on X (formerly Twitter) that routinely trolls players, featured Anthony Edwards on Tuesday. Edwards got a ribbing via a fake Instagram post that included a made-up reaction from Leanna Lenee, the fiancee of Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter. Rapper Bow Wow fell for the joke and gave the Heisman Trophy winner lengthy relationship advice.

Bow Wow began by saying that he doesn’t normally jump into other people's issues, but couldn’t hold back. He told Travis Hunter:

“All we are doing is waking you up, young brother. Because if you don’t see what the f**k is going on … if we didn’t give a f**k, we’ll let you crash out. But from one player to the next, I ain’t gonna tell you what to do, but I want you to open your eyes, man.

"There’s no reason why she comment on another n***a page, an NBA n***a with heart eyes and a motherf**king money tongue out. That’s your fiancee! Wake up, young brother. Fiancees don’t move like that. … Total violation. That b**ch would’ve been packing up her s**t and get the f**k out of my crib that day!”

Bow Wow wasn’t the first to fall for such jokes from NBACentel, and he likely wouldn’t be the last.

Travis Hunter claims Anthony Edwards is his NBA comparison

Travis Hunter has turned heads with his play for the Colorado Buffaloes and Jackson State Tigers. Whether he plays wide receiver or cornerback, nobody has been more impactful than him on both ends of the field.

When asked who his NBA comparison is, Hunter answered:

"NBA comp? I like (Kevin Durant). Oh wait hold on... Anthony Edwards. That's who I'm going with – A.E."

Anthony Edwards told ESPN in October that he would be looking to play football if he wins an NBA championship early in his career. Hunter is poised to enter the NFL next year. Who knows if sports can see them square off against each other in the gridiron?
