When a former Fox Sports hair stylist filed a lawsuit against the company naming Skip Bayless, Joy Taylor and others of workplace misconduct this week, it rocked the world of sports.
In the lawsuit, Noushin Faraji, who worked at Fox Sports from 2012-2024, alleged that Bayless made repeated unwanted advances at her and went so far as to offer her money to sleep with him.
Additionally, Faraji alleges that Joy Taylor had an affair with Fox Sports exec Charlie Dixon and host Emmanuel Acho. Additionally, and in the case of Taylor, most notably, Faraji alleges that Taylor planned to accuse Dixon of sexually assaulting her if she didn't "need him" anymore, or he found out about her and Acho.
Because of that, Taylor is facing backlash. The way former Indiana Pacers player Jalen Rose's daughter, Mariah Rose, sees things, if Taylor did say that, she deserves to get in trouble.

However, as she explained in a four-minute video posted on social media on Friday, some Fox Sports viewers have been out to get Taylor since before this started.
"If it is true that Joy Taylor admitted that she would be willing to lie about SA if she was caught sleeping with a boss at work while married, that is wrong. People should get in trouble for lying about SA and falsely accusing men of SA. ...
"It can also be true that y'all are using Joy Taylor as the face of this lawsuit because of misogyny. ... There is a lot of vitriol towards her. People have been committing to hating, committed to hating Joy Taylor for a long time, much before this lawsuit. This just gives them a reason."

Jalen Rose's daughter Mariah Rose wasn't the only one to stand up for Joy Taylor this week in the wake of Fox Sports lawsuit
Jalen Rose's daughter wasn't the only one standing up for Joy Taylor this week. While Mariah Rose defended Taylor against those who are targeting her, former NFL quarterback Cam Newton defended Taylor from former co-worker Jason Whitlock.
When the allegations about Taylor having affairs with Dixon and Acho surfaced, Whitlock, who previously worked with Taylor, weighed in on his "Fearless with Jason Whitlock" program.
While discussing the situation, Whitlock made several comments fans deemed controversial while sexualizing Taylor. In response Cam Newton fired back on his own program, "4th&1 with Cam Newton," taking aim at Whitlock for his comments about Taylor.
“You’re not that guy, pal. You’re not. ‘That big rack of hers,’ that’s inappropriate. ‘That butter skin,’ that’s inappropriate. Bro, you’re not that guy. So to comment on something like this, bro, stay in your lane.
"... Joy, is she a very attractive woman? Absolutely. And it’s not for me to make inappropriate statements Jason. ... Don’t say no inappropriate things like that and not be questioned about that.”
So far, Taylor hasn't responded to the allegations, or Whitlock's comments, despite continuing to appear on-air.
