Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic recalls one of the most intense games he played in Europe as a comparison for Game 5. The Mavs have a chance to rewrite history by becoming the first team to come back from a 3-0 deficit. However, the hostility of the Boston Celtics crowd could make things difficult for them.
The Mavs are prepping for Game 5 after their dominating win against the Celtics in Game 4, avoiding the sweep. Doncic led the game for Dallas as he had 29 points, five rebounds and five assists. He was also locked in on the defensive end as he had three steals.
The entire team is on a mission to win at Boston tonight. However, playing at TD Garden has never been easy. In all of Doncic's years of playing basketball, he expects the hostility for Game 5 to be comparable to the most intense game he played in Europe.

"It's louder, some places in Europe," Doncic said. "When we played against Panathinaikos, that was the loudest I've ever heard. It was insane. I couldn't hear the guy next to me, so that's a big difference.

"We know it's gonna be loud here, a lot of eyes on us and we just gotta stay together."
The Mavs have the momentum, but the pressure to not make a mistake in Game 5 for the team is also on their side. For the Celtics, they just need to be composed and with the help of their fans, that might be doable.

Where does Luka Doncic rank in the Finals MVP race?
Despite his incredible performances in the Finals, Luka Doncic isn't the favorite to win the Finals MVP award. In the latest update from NBA.com, Doncic rose through the ranks and entered the top three.
The five-time All-Star has done an excellent job in leading the team to its second NBA title. The league has ranked the Jays as the top two favorites to win the award. Jaylen Brown is at number 1, as he's averaging 20.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists. Jayson Tatum follows close behind as he has 20 points, 7.8 rebounds and 6.3 assists.
At the fourth spot is the Mavs' Kyrie Irving. The star guard is averaging 21 points, three rebounds and four assists. The fifth spot for the Finals MVP race is Jrue Holiday. The two-way guard has put up 14.3 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
With their season on the line tonight, Doncic and the Mavs will do everything they can to turn things around and extend the series.
