Looking at the latest surrounding Luka Doncic's status ahead of tonight's Lakers-Nuggets game
Luka Doncic debuted for the Lakers on Feb. 10 after missing more than eight weeks with a calf strain. Doncic struggled to find his rhythm from downtown, scoring just 14 points in 24 minutes.
After playing 23 minutes against the Utah Jazz, the Lakers upped Doncic's minutes for Wednesday's rematch against the Hornets, with the young star logging 33 minutes.
Despite that, he once again struggled to find his rhythm, something that LeBron James attributed to the eight weeks off due to injury and the adjustment phase when joining a new team.
Ahead of tonight's game against the Denver Nuggets, which comes on the heels of Doncic sitting out LA's game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday, the hope is that he can take the first steps toward returning to form.
According to the 3:30 p.m. ET NBA.com injury report, Doncic is listed as probable due to left calf management, while LeBron is listed as probable with left foot management.
Although both players aren't at 100%, LA will look to make it two in a row before hosting the Mavericks on Tuesday in a game that many fans have been eagerly awaiting.
