Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving have only been teammates for less than a month, but it seems like the two have some chemistry together. The duo were teammates again at the 2023 NBA All-Star Game and had a wholesome moment on the bench.

Resting up on the bench for Team LeBron James, Doncic got Irving with quite possibly the oldest trick in the book. After Irving changed his shoes, his Maverick teammate gently tapped him on his left shoulder to make him look. Doncic burst out in laughter as Irving playfully tossed a towel at him.

After the All-Star Game, Luka Doncic shared his experience with Kyrie Irving. Doncic praised his new teammate and had a lot of fun with him during the All-Star Weekend.

"It was great, man," Doncic told Mavs.com. "We had a lot of laughs. He's a great guy. We talk a lot, so it was great to have him here."

Fans loved that Doncic and Irving looked happy at the All-Star Game. They will need to have more chemistry for the rest of the season to ensure that the Dallas Mavericks make the playoffs.

Kyrie Irving seems to be fitting quite well with the Dallas Mavericks. However, Mavericks fans should not feel too comfortable with Irving on the team. He will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, unless he signs a new deal with the Mavericks.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Irving could potentially stay in Dallas. Wojnarowski explained that the Mavericks are known to pay players who want to stay with the team and Irving appears happy to play alongside Luka Doncic already.

"I think it's more likely than not Kyrie Irving stays in Dallas just because of what they invested in him," Wojnarowski said. "And his chance to get the kind of contract he wants, for all the reasons they traded for him, they were at a shortage of talent around Luka Doncic.

"Hopefully, this thing goes well enough. It's never going to be perfect with Kyrie Irving, but given what they gave up and Dallas' track record of being willing to pay players who want to be there, I think it's more likely than not Kyrie Irving is in Dallas."
