The 2023 March Madness finals round is set for an enticing clash between No. 4 seed UConn Huskies and No. 5 seed San Diego State Aztecs.
The Huskies continued their dominant run with a 72-59 rout of No. 5 seed Miami Hurricanes in their final four game. Meanwhile, the Aztecs edged the Florida Atlantic Owls with a 72-71 win.
The championship game between UConn and San Diego will be televised on CBS, while the NCAA March Madness Live app will stream the game online (link below). The contest will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. Tip-off will be on Monday (April 3rd) at 9:20 PM ET (Tuesday, April 4th at 6:50 AM IST.)

UConn has arguably been the most dominant team in the 2023 March Madness. They have recorded three 20-point wins against Iona, Arkansas and Gonzaga. Their non-20-point wins against St Mary's and Miami were also high-margin victories, with one a 15-point and the other a 13-point advantage.

UConn has been dominant on both ends of the court. They were the top-seeded team in the Final Four and have played like that throughout the tournament. Meanwhile, San Diego enters this game behind an upset win over No. 1 Alabama in Sweet 16 and a one-point win over No. 6 Creighton and No. 9 Florida Atlanta in the Elite 8 and Final Four rounds, respectively.
UConn earned a comfortable 72-59 win against Miami in the final four. They went on a 9-0 run following the tip-off and never gave up their lead. Meanwhile, San Diego scripted the fifth-largest comeback win in Final Four history. They returned from a 14-point second-half deficit over FAU and won the game with 0.6 seconds left following Lamont Buttler's game-winning shot.
Both teams have been elite defensively this season. It could be a physical and intense game. UConn's offense has been better because of the 3-point shooting threats they possess, which makes them the favorites to win their fifth NCAA championship.
They will join two of the most winningest programs, Duke and UCLA, as the only teams to win five championships in 25 years.
