Marcus Jordan shows off father Michael Jordan's $61 million private jet amid visit to 23XI NASCAR team's HQ visit

Michael Jordan and two of his children recently visited the headquarters of 23XI Racing in Huntersville, North Carolina. Jordan's son, Marcus, showed off the Chicago Bulls legend's state-of-the-art Airspeed facility and $61 million private jet on social media.

In a post on his Instagram stories, Marcus shared a video of his father walking on the tarmac heading into his Gulfstream G550 private jet. MJ lives in Jupiter, Florida, so the family has to fly out to visit 23XI Racing's headquarters.

Michael Jordan's Gulfstream G550 private jet is worth an estimated $61 million. It can hold 19 passengers and has a bar and cigar station.

It has an elephant print, similar to his popular Air Jordan 3 White Cement. The plane's tail number is N236MJ, which signifies Jordan's iconic No. 23, six championships and his initials.

According to Simple Flying, Jordan purchased the plane on Aug. 17, 2016, so that he could travel to his businesses much faster and easier. Its previous colors were powder blue and white, which were the colors of his alma mater University of North Carolina.

Michael Jordan visited 23XI Racing's HQ

One of Michael Jordan's passions is NASCAR, which is why he bought a team with driver Denny Hamlin and called it 23XI Racing. The team has a newly opened headquarter in Huntersville, North Carolina.

Jordan and Hamlin called their HQ Airspeed, boasting nine acres of space in a 16-acre land. They are open for expansion even though they only opened the building to the public last week.

"I think Michael said it correctly that we are all-in on the sport and I think that if you walk through here, there’s no way you can question that.

"From the performance that we’ve put on the race track to what we’ve built here, I can’t imagine anyone coming in in three years, and spending this kind of investment to be all-in on the sport," Hamlin told NASCAR.com.

"His Airness" recently toured the headquarters with his son Marcus and daughter Jasmine. Marcus even shared a family photo at Airspeed on his Instagram stories.

Jasmine works for his father's Air Jordan Brand in the marketing department. Marcus, meanwhile, is an entrepreneur but made headlines over the past two years due to his relationship with Larsa Pippen, the ex-husband of his father's longtime teammate Scottie Pippen.

23XI Racing has three cars and six victories

Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin's 23XI Racing have three cars – No. 23, No. 45 and No. 50.

Bubba Wallace is in charge of No. 23 and he has taken home one race victory, the 2021 YellaWood 500 at Talladega. Wallace also won 2022 Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas in No. 45.

Tyler Reddick has three race victories – 2023 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, 2023 Hollywood Casino 400 in Kansas City and the 2024 GEICO 500 at Talladega. The other win came from Kurt Busch at the 2022 AdventHealth 400 in Kansas City.
