NBA fans reacted to blood on Nikola Jokic during the game between the Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. A picture posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, showed Jokic with blood stains on the front of his jersey.

The picture attracted reactions.

"Somehow the foul is still on him 😂 smh," a fan wrote.

One fan hilariously commented that the Mavericks players need to see manicurists.

"This is insane. Nikola Jokić has blood all over his jersey rn. Mavs players need to cut their nails," a Nuggets fan wrote.
"Oh no, I thought this was better this year, until the other night. No long, scraggly nails allowed. Insanity. Love my Nuggets!" a fan wrote.

Some fans slammed the game officials for allowing rough plays against Jokic.

"He's always bleeding, but the refs just let him get hacked," a fan wrote.
"They are hitting him hard. What are these refs doing?" another fan wrote.

One fan singled out Derrick Lively Jr. for scratching.

"U just know Derrick Lively JR scratches," the fan wrote.

A fan hilariously wrote that it was the color of Cheetos on Nikola Jokic's jersey.

"Bruh was eating Cheetos while playing 😭😭😭," the fan wrote.

Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook inspire Nuggets past Mavericks

Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets pulled off an unlikely 112-101 win against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The Nuggets trailed by as many as 19 points in the third quarter and as many as 12 in the fourth.

However, the Nuggets stormed their way back early in the last quarter, eventually outscoring the Mavs 33-12 to win their 38th contest.

Both Nikola Jokic and Russell Westbrook almost had triple-doubles in the win. Jokic finished with 19 points, 18 rebounds, 9 assists and 2 steals. He shot 6 of 13. Westbrook led the Nuggets with 21 points on 10-of-17 shooting. The 2017 MVP also had 10 rebounds and seven assists.

Four other players from the Nuggets scored in double-digits. Aaron Gordon and Michael Porter Jr. finished with 13 points each. Peyton Watson and Jamal Murray scored 10 and 17 points respectively.

The Nuggets will face the Mavs on Tuesday in their second consecutive game.
