Michael Jordan has been attempting to sell his Chicagoland mansion for over a decade now. It's become somewhat of an ongoing joke for folks in the surrounding areas of Highland Park. The price of Jordan's elaborate mansion drops year after year. Sure enough, the home continues to be left without a buyer.
The property is set on a massive seven-acre lot in the suburbs of Chicago and features a 56,000-square-foot house. It is complete with guest quarters, a full-sized basketball court, and a tennis court. Despite the mansion's size, Jordan has been unable to find a buyer given how much custom work was put into the house. The property, for example, is guarded by huge gates with the number '23 on them.
Despite the fact that Jordan has found no luck when it comes to selling the house, there have been continued efforts on the part of realtors to sell the place. A video uploaded to YouTube gave viewers a tour of the nine-bedroom, 19-bathroom property, and one particular viewer wasn't impressed. Content creator xQc had plenty of criticism when it came to the tour.
As the tour guide explained to viewers that everything in the house comes with the house, xQc went on a tirade explaining why he believes the property hasn't been sold yet.

"Making things visual for people is very difficult. People don't see what you see, they don't even see their own vision for things. They want to see themselves living in it, you want them to see what this could be for them, what if they got new furniture or whatever? You want them to visualize their life in the house."
He continued:
"When you put trash furniture and garbage TV that if they can't see themselves sitting down or watching TV it's bad, it's trash, it's so bad. All these rooms, I don't want to be in them. They're garbage."

Michael Jordan's massive property, why won't it sell?
One reason many have theorized that Michael Jordan hasn't been able to sell the property is that so many things inside are built to his specifications.
Given how large the property is, any potential buyer would have to do renovations simply to make the house feel more like their own and less like Jordan's. Despite that, MJ has put tons of effort into trying to sell the property, which comes complete with a three-bedroom guest house.
At one point, he was offering a complete collection of Jordan brand signature shoes to whoever purchased the house.

So far, it seems as though Jordan is committed to trying and selling the home, while residents in the area have no interest in buying it. Whether or not that changes in the future, only time will tell.
