Five-time NBA champion Ron Harper can often be found engaging with fans on X (formerly Twitter). Over the past week, Harper has posted about a wide range of topics from the NFL to the officiating in the NBA's G League.
On Wednesday, Harper weighed in on 32-year-old American football player Luke Larsen entering the NCAA transfer portal. The 32-year-old is the oldest player in college football, and despite his age, he still has one more year left of college ball.
Larsen has reportedly entered the NCAA's transfer portal, which will allow him to play another season with a different team. In response to the situation, Harper, who won three titles with Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, weighed in on the news, writing:
"lol crazy."

According to Vice.com, Larsen, who is from Australia, didn't get into American football until he was 28. After finding his role as a punter, Larsen joined East Carolina University, where he's working towards an MBA degree.
Ron Harper's son, Ron Harper Jr., signs with Detroit Pistons, as his other son, Dylan, looks to follow in their footsteps
Heading up to this summer's NBA draft, Ron Harper's son, Dylan Harper, has been touted as one of the best up-and-coming prospects in the nation. While Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey are considered to be the top two prospects in this year's draft, the expectation is that Dylan Harper will be selected between the third and fifth picks.
In the meantime, Ron Harper Jr. has been making waves of his own. After a collegiate career with Rutgers, the second-generation hooper went undrafted in the 2022 draft and instead began playing in the NBA G League.
After a scoring outburst earlier in the week that saw Ron Jr. knock down eight 3-pointers on 31 points, the Detroit Pistons signed him to a two-way contract.
HoopsHype's Michael Scotto announced the news on Tuesday via social media, as seen below.
While the retired point guard hasn't weighed in on the situation, with both of his sons seemingly making waves in the NBA, it's clear that Harper's legacy is still going strong.
