LeBron James eclipsed Michael Jordan for most 30-point games in NBA history, but the latter's ex-Chicago Bulls teammate Ron Harper was anything but impressed.
'The King' added another feather in his cap by scoring 30 points in their 119-102 home victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Friday. It was the 563rd 30-point game of his legendary NBA career, topping the record held by Jordan of 562.
While the NBA sphere celebrated James' milestone, Harper, who played and won three NBA titles with 'MJ' in the 1990s, seemed to care less, dropping a three-word reaction on X (formerly Twitter).Harper wrote:
"Who really cares?"

LeBron James achieved the new record off a turnaround jumper with 5:58 left in their game against the visiting Hawks at the Crypto.com Arena. Jordan set his record in 1,071 games over 15 seasons, while James, 40, did it in 1,523 games in 22 seasons.
James also surpassed Dirk Nowitzki for the fourth-most games played in the regular season in NBA history with 1,523.
LeBron James 'humbled' with latest achievement
While Ron Harper was uninterested with LeBron James' latest achievement, for the 20-time All-Star it was a big deal as Michael Jordan is his basketball hero. He considered it a humbling experience to be mentioned in the same breath as the NBA great.
The LA Lakers superstar just could not hide his excitement, sharing (via Associated Press):
"It's very humbling. Anytime I'm mentioned with any of the greats, and arguably the greatest ever to play the game, super-cool. It's someone I idolized in my childhood, and I wear 23 because of him."
He added:
"So to know that I can sit here and be in the room or in the conversation or whatever it is, you mention MJ, it's like super-duper dope for me, being a kid where I'm from."
LeBron James now has 563 30-point games in his career, with Jordan second with 562. Wilt Chamberlain is third with 516, with Karl Malone (435) and Kobe Bryant (431) completing the top five.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (429) is in seventh place, followed by Kevin Durant (399), Oscar Robertson (387), Jerry West (350), and Dominique Wilkins (346).
Apart from James and Durant, other active players in the rankings are James Harden at 13th (321), Steph Curry at 17th (296), Giannis Antetokounmpo at 21st (271) and Damian Lillard at 22nd (260).
