Snoop Dogg can be seen reacting to the now-infamous DX Chop from Joel Embiid

The USA men's basketball team routed the Brazilians in the quarterfinal of the 2024 Paris Olympics to a final score of 122-87.

During that game, Joel Embiid performed a taunt from the famous WWE stable D-Generation-X (DX). The taunt is the crotch chop popularized by DX members such as Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

An iconic photo of Embiid performing the move was posted by USA Basketball on X, formerly known as Twitter. Aside from Embiid, two other icons can be seen in the photo.

The first is A'ja Wilson, who is playing for the women's basketball team, and the other is Snoop. The pair can be seen reacting to the move by Embiid, which he performed as a celebration after making an and-1 play in the second quarter against Brazil.

This move seems to be a favorite for Embiid, as he did it last season in the NBA against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, the NBA was less receptive to the taunt and fined him $35,000.

Aside from the NBA's disapproval, Kevin Durant also expressed disapproval for Embiid's choice of celebration. Before they were Olympic teammates, KD tweeted at Embiid, telling him that the celebration was "trash." This prompted Embiid to respond with another DX catchphrase, "suck it."

Whether the Olympic officials decided to be more lenient with Embiid or simply missed the gesture is unclear. Regardless, this celebration from Embiid has gifted basketball fans with an iconic photo. One that also features Snoop Dogg and A'ja Wilson.
