Meanwhile, Anthony Edwards finished with 27 points, five rebounds and six assists. Julius Randle was struggling with his shot, scoring just 14 points on 15 shots. Nickeil Alexander-Walker came off the bench to score 19 points on 7-for-9 shooting.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors Game Summary
After coming off the bench on Friday, Draymond Green was back in the starting lineup for the Golden State Warriors. Coach Steve Kerr was still unsure about which players to use given how good Jonathan Kuminga has been playing plus injuries to players such as DeAnthony Melton.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves were starting to gain confidence after a rough start to the season. Julius Randle has settled into his role after some shaky performances and chemistry with Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert.
In the first quarter, the two teams were playing well and no one was taking control of the game. The Timberwolves made a run midway through the period to finish the first 12 minutes on a 30-21 lead. Anthony Edwards had seven points, while Steph Curry was limited to just four points.
The second quarter began with the Warriors trying to trim the nine-point Timberwolves advantage. They got it back down to three points before Minnesota kept them at bay. Curry had a huge period with 15 points, but Golden State allowed a 6-0 run in the final 32 seconds as the Timberwolves took a 58-49 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, the Golden State Warriors went on their patented run to easily trim the Minnesota Timberwolves lead and kept themselves in the game. It became a back-and-forth contest starting at the seven-minute mark.
Both teams began trading baskets with Golden State taking a 93-90 lead. Steph Curry hit a ridiculous 3-point shot near halfcourt over two defenders at the buzzer as the Chase Center crowd exploded in cheers.
The fourth quarter remained the same, but the Warriors played magnificent defense down the stretch. Gary Payton II came up with a huge steal with under a minute left, which led to a dagger 3-point shot by Buddy Hield as the Warriors earned a well-deserved 114-106 win.
The Warriors are back in action on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup against the Houston Rockets.
