Fans chipped in with their thoughts on former NBA star Vince Carter claiming he would have defeated Michael Jordan in a dunk contest. Both Carter and Jordan were exceptional when they participated in the dunk contest. But because they played in different eras, no one knows for sure who'd win in a dunk-off between the two highflyers.
The former Toronto Raptors star only joined the contest once in his career and that was during his sophomore season. He participated in the 2000 NBA Slam Dunk Contest and went against his former teammate and cousin, Tracy McGrady. He also beat former Houston Rockets star Steve Francis. Fans remember his iconic 360-windmill dunk, which was a new trick at that time.
MJ, on the other hand, participated in the contest numerous times and won twice during his career. His most iconic dunk was when he took off from the free-throw line to show off his hangtime. Jordan was still around in the NBA during Carter's early days, but he was with the Washington Wizards then.
Bleacher Report's Taylor Rooks asked Carter about who he thinks would win in a dunk contest between himself and the Chicago Bulls legend.

"Jordan wouldn’t stand a chance," one fan said as he sided with Carter.
"I’d happen to agree," another fan agrees with Carter.

"MJ all day lets stop this now," another fan thinks the Bulls legend will take the win.
"Nah Jordan better," this fan thinks Jordan is a better dunker.
