As a former NBA All-Star who made over $160 million in his career, Gilbert Arenas is typically the one surprising his loved ones with big gifts. However, his girlfriend ended up switching roles this Christmas.
On Wednesday afternoon, Melli Monaco called Arenas and his kids outside to show them a gift she got him. The former Washington Wizards star was elated when found what was waiting for him in the drive. Monaco had gotten him a Wolf King GT scooter that was customized with his name on the front.
Gilbert Arenas quickly thanked Monaco for the scooter and responded with a comical remark. Shortly after, he took off into the street to take his new wheels for a test drive.
"You trying to get married," Arenas told Monaco.

Arenas and Monaco have been together for around a year, and already engaged. The three-time All-Star popped the question over the summer while the couple was on vacation in France.
Monaco is a content creator of her, as she hosts the show The Blind Pineapple. She has also built up a strong social media following, racking up 420,000 followers on Instagram alone.
Based on Arenas' reaction to the scooter, it's fair to say Monaco had the best gift in their house this Christmas.
Melli Monaco is very involved in Gilbert Arenas' life and family
In their time together, Melli Monaco and Gilbert Arenas have grown very close. She's become not only an integral part of his life but the lives of his children as well.
Arenas has four kids from a previous relationship, two boys and two girls. While she isn't their birth mother, Monaco supports all of the kids as blaze their own paths in life.
Earlier this month, Monaco gave a special shoutout to Gilbert Arenas' youngest child, Hamiley. The high school freshman wound up having a basketball game on her birthday and put together an impressive outing.
"Happy birthday @hamileyarenas0 She went crazy 40points 16rebounds"
With performances like these, it seems like Arenas has multiple impressive basketball prospects in his house. The most notable is his oldest son Alijah, who is getting ready to finish high school.
Earlier this year, Alijah made the decision to reclassify from the class of 2026 to 2025. He is among the top prospects in his new senior class, currently sitting at No. 15 in ESPN's top 100. As of now, Alijah has not made a decision on where he plans on playing next year.
