Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers has a bad win-loss record since taking over the team. Rivers became the Bucks' head coach in January during the 2023-24 season. Currently, the veteran coach notched an underwhelming 18-21 record, a stark contrast to the team's impressive 32-14 record prior to his arrival in January.

Rivers was once one of the best coaches, especially when he won the 2008 NBA Finals with the Boston Celtics. However, it appears that his leadership has consistently failed to replicate the success he once had. Fans on social media are now trolling him. Here's what some of them had to say:

"Bucks got Dame Lillard, Doc Rivers, Darvin Ham and convinced themselves those were great moves. Lol," one said.
"I’m always amazed he’s been the pick for teams with solid talent. He never over performs as a coach. Never," another said.
"Most overrated Coach...In the History of Coaching... Privilege at it's Best...That this Clown continues to get great Job after Job," one tweeted.
"Why does anyone continue to employ this bum," one asked.

Bucks vs. Nets recap: Doc Rivers' weakness as a coach is showing

The Milwaukee Bucks are off to a lousy start to their season as they lost their second consecutive game. Milwaukee faced off against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, where they were on the receiving end of a 115-102 defeat. To make things worse, the Bucks lost to a team that has no All-Stars on their roster.

Cam Thomas and Dennis Schroder destroyed the duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Thomas put up All-Star-esque numbers with 32 points, five rebounds and two steals. Supporting him was Schroder, who also had solid numbers with 29 points, six assists and four rebounds.

Doc Rivers' Bucks struggled to come up with an answer despite his All-Stars coming up with solid performances. Antetokounmpo had a double-double outing with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Lillard, on the other hand, struggled to find his shot and scored 21 points with 14.2% shooting beyond the arc and 38.4% overall.

Milwaukee now has a 1-2 record, which is quite the shocker considering how the team has been one of the elites in the Eastern Conference under Giannis' reign as the top star. Their struggle to beat teams that are supposedly easy matchups could be an indication of their head coach's weaknesses. The team needs to figure out the problem before it's too late.
